...Grand Hotel Central. Undoubtedly my favourite pool deck in Barcelona. Open from 20.30h to the public, but best enjoyed if you have friends staying there!

...because summer time is hotel roof terrace time!...
...summer time is 'roof top terrace' time! A couple of years ago I did my best to visit all of them - check my link to 'roof terrace' to see my selection. Summer is back, visitors are back and it is time to enjoy them again and the different and spectacular vistas that they offer of this city.
Alaire at Hotel Condes, offers a view of both Gaudi's Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera! A special view - best enjoyed with a cold copa de cava. And at nights they offer a selection of live music entertainment.

...because summer IS beachside eating...
... just south of Barcelona is my favourite chiringuito. Perched on the cliff overlooking the beach it is the perfect place to take a break from the sun and enjoy lunchtime tapas. This is La Vida Dulce!
