...of ALL the hotel roof terraces open in Barcelona. I thought I had about 5 more to get to...evidently not. I am not sure there are enough summer nights left for all of these! But I will try...

...because another night is another roof terrace ...

I am on a mission to get to all the hotel roof top terrace bars that have been open this year. With the end of August and days getting shorter, I have realised that summer is coming to an end and I haven't got an endless amount of time. 
Therefore another beautiful night means another beautiful roof top terrace with a stunning view...

Casa Fuster is a luxury hotel 'uptown', in Gracia. It was designed by Domenech i Muntaner and built in 1908 by Señor Fuster as a gift to his wife (nice!). After extensive restoration and conversion it was opened as a hotel in 2004.

...because I found the salsa Espinaler...

...who knew?!.. there it was, sitting up with the other salsas,  in the big supermarket, the spicy salsa from the little road side cafe in Vilassar de Mar, Espinalar. Delicous, but I still think it tastes the best when there is a view of the sea.. (see 14 Aug 2012)

...because Barcelona is back from its summer vacation...

First work day of September and Barcelona is back in business. It has returned from its summer vactation. Shops are open and the streets are busy. I liked having Barcelona to myself and it will take me a day or two to get used to it being busy again. It also means that summer is now on its way out... and Autumn is coming.

..because Barcelona has a 'big mouth'...

Boca Grande ("big mouth")and Boca Chica make an uber cool restaurant/bar establishment.  Boca Grande is the modern tapas restuarant and Boca Chica is the 3 level bar next door.  Great design, good food and fabulous (and pricey) Gin & Tonics.

And the coolest part of the whole place is its bathroom (blog 5 April 2012)

...because of the icing on top of the cake of Barcelona - La Pedrera...

From this view, the rooftop of La Pedrera looks like the top of a cake-  the icing on top of the cake that is Barcelona!

...because of the beautiful Magic Fountain at Montjuic...

The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, built in 1929 for the Great Universal Exhibition continues spout its show of water and light to music every Thursday to Sunday (21.30h - 23h Summer and every Friday & Saturday in Winter).
