...because only is Spain do they publish a map of where the bonfires will be in the streets for Sant Joan...

Only in Spain do they publish where you will find (planned) Bonfires in the inner city streets!
Wait for the night...

..because of the best little paella restaurant in (Barceloneta) town...

Barceloneta is the old fishing village of Barcelona and marisco (seafood) runs through the veins of the locals. There are many restaurants for paella and this quaint little restaurant serves the freshest and tastiest, made with love by Nini. It is authentic and a favourite little secret of the Barcelonese.
Of course, the most best thing about paella is that it is not a meal for one, it is a dish that must be shared!

...because of the other spectacular pool deck at the W..

The W Hotel located at the end of Barceloneta has its own uber cool pool deck with lounges, cocktails,  a DJ and a magnificant view over the beaches of Barcelona.

...because the best gazpacho can be bought in a carton...

...just like milk, but better...and at ALL supermarkets!
(Of course, my spanish friends will say the best is home-made but this is quick, easy and tastes very good to me!)

...because just after Cadequés comes Cap de Creus...

Cap de Creus, a bit further up the windy road from Cadequés. It is at the end of Spain and a magical place to watch the sunset at the end of the day.

...porque Cadequés ...

Cadequés, a 1.5 hour drive north of Barcelona, on the Costa Brava.  Beautiful, secluded (meaning a long, narrow and very windy road) and where Dalí and Gala made their home (easy to spot by the eggs and heads on the building).  Coves, calitas (small beaches), and chiringuitos... it is a perfectly pictureque piece of paradise.
