...definitely one of my favourite days of the year in Barcelona! The day of the Rose and the Book! Give a girl a rose and a boy a book. The Day of Love! And a day to fall in love with Barcelona again!

... and it is very impressive, imbedded with the history of Barcelona. It is not only a day of books and roses (and kinghts slaying dragons! Every Dia de St Jordi, (23 April) the Ayuntamiento and Generalitat open their doors to the public. It is well worth the visit (although I didn't find my knight in shining armour there!!)
