...because on St Jordi Day, the Town Hall is open...

... and it is very impressive,  imbedded with the history of Barcelona.  It is not only a day of books and roses (and kinghts slaying dragons! Every Dia de St Jordi, (23 April) the Ayuntamiento  and Generalitat open their doors to the public. It is well worth the visit (although I didn't find my knight in shining armour there!!)

...because the streets of Sitges are paved with flowers...

...dating from 1887, the residents of Sitges pave their streets in floral carpets in celeberation of the feast of Corpus Christi. (And the start of summer). Que bonito!

...because Barcelona is besotted by books and roses..

...dia de Sant Jordi, 23 April, the other Valentine's Day, when Barcelona is besotted  by books and roses.  The day that every corner has a little stall.  A day when the streets are full and every woman walks with a rose in her hand.  A day of appreciation and love.  A day when the city smiling!

...because of 24hours Floristeria Navarro...

...very conveniently located close to where I live, is this always bustling 24 hour florist.  Busy and beautiful.  There is something for everyone here - you can choose your own mix or choose something ready to go.  If that isn't enough, there are also plants and trees and herbs and... plastic flowers.
