The Cascada, is the aquatic oasis in Parc de Ciutadella (10 May 2012), (designed by Josep Fontsére (who at this time had architecture student Antoni Gaudi working in his office). It was completed in 1888 and displayed at the Universal Exhibition of that year.

Parc de la Ciutadella is at end of the Arc de Triomf. It is a beautiful oasis of green, the Central Park of Barcelona. Perfect for a Sunday run or for a Sunday picnic.
