...because of beautiful lit up BCN LLUM 2015...

...beautiful Barcelona lit up for the Festes de Santa Eulàlia; one of the two patron Saints of Barcelona. Even in the midst of cold winter, Barcelona lights up and celebrates. A trail of lights leads you through the Gotic Quarter and delivers glowing statues, light installations and a sparkling city.

..because of the super festive, Fiesta de Gracia...

... the Fiesta de Gracia - every August, the neighbourhood of Gracia holds its own Festival. The residents decorate the streets and the plazas with colourful and original designs. Every night is a party with bars and bands in the streets and it is easy to lose yourself (and your way) exploring the fun and festivaties that are on offer! It is a wonderful and colourful tradition and worth a visit.

...because at the top of the tower is the Torre d'Alta Mar...

...tucked at the top of the tower, under the Teleférico (cable car), is Torre D'Alta Mar with its tremendous views and tantalising food. While you dine, you can watch the sunset over Barcelona and the night lights begin to sparkle. It is a place to celebrate and appreciate (and be besotted again) by Barcelona.

... because of the Fira de Santa Llúcia...

...has been held in the Avenue of the Cathedral since 1786. A fair that sells 'Nativity Scenes and Christmas Traditions', which include many versions of the kooky 'cagatio', the smiling log under which the gifts of Christmas appear on Dia de Los Reyes, 6 January. A place to find the Christmas spirit.
